Upcycle a preloved t-shirt in this crafty workshop by Sustainable Fashion Week and Children’s Scrapstore! Alter the look of your t-shirt by cutting, weaving, sewing, embellishing, and decorating.

What to expect:

• Bring along an old t-shirt, they can be plain, patterned or with a logo you want to cover or remove!
• Your hosts, Children’s Scrapstore, will provide a range of fabric and embellishments, as well as some spare t-shirts if you don’t have one – most of these materials are reused so have been saved from landfill!
• The techniques and ideas you learn can all be used with other garments.
• You will have access to all of the equipment that you need to get creative and make a new look.

Who this workshop suitable for:

• Suitable for children aged 8 years and above
• Suitable for beginners, no prior experience needed

When and where:

• Head to the Department of Discovery on the groundfloor of Sparks Bristol
• Sat 30 September 11am-2pm
• Sun 1 October 11am-2pm
• Please arrive anytime between 11am-2pm, allowing 1 hour for the workshop
