Workshop exploring the use of crafting to ease climate-anxiety.

UWE MA Design student, Ellen Edwards, is looking for participants to join her in a pilot series of ‘Climate Convos and Crafts’.

This is the focus of her research into how crafting within a workshop setting can be used to facilitate conversations about the climate crisis, and ease climate anxiety.

This research will be conducted as a two-part workshop series, where we will dive into a crafting activity whilst creating an open and safe space to discuss our thoughts and feelings, before moving on to look outwards at how we can begin to imagine our climate resilient future.

The two evening sessions will be held on the 13th and 20th of July in the Department of Imagination, and facilitated by Hazel Morfett and Faith Terry-Doyle.
