Sparks is a vibrant community of artists, makers, educators and activists and offers a welcoming and inclusive space for exhibitions in the heart of the city. If your work explores the themes of social justice, climate and environment, equality or any of the other Sustainable Development Goals we strive to work towards please get in touch.
Public exhibition space is available within our ground floor retail space for free for limited periods throughout the year. If you are interested in showcasing your work here please complete this form and someone will get back to you shortly.
Our larger or more private spaces on the ground and first floors are available for hire via our bookings team. Please email them for further information and pricing: bookings@sparksbristol.co.uk
FAQs
If you are just looking to display your work for a short period (2-4 weeks on average) exhibition space is free. Priority will be given to exhibitions which explore the themes outlined in the Sustainable Development Goals.
Selling your work is possible in one of two ways. If you wanted to display your work and sell prints via a link/QR code this would be arranged on a commission basis. Please indicate this on your application and we will be in touch to discuss rates. Alternatively, pop up retail units are available and should be applied for via the retail page.
Yes, our Discovery room in the centre of the store is available to hire by the hour for events. Please indicate on the application form if you wish to be put in touch with the bookings team to arrange this. We also have a vegan cafe on site should you wish to be connected to arrange catering.
On site car parking is not available at Sparks. The nearest car park is the Galleries.
