The ideal candidate would be someone that is able to work with a diverse range of people and able adapt to an ever-changing environment. This is a unique opportunity to be part of a team exploring the crossover between performance art, education and sustainability. Sparks reaches hundreds of people each day, but with your help we aim to do much more! We are looking for a team of ‘Sparklers’ to be the face of Sparks, combining education and customer service to engage visitors in Sparks and its mission.
Sparks is looking for talented artists from underrepresented groups, including Black, Asian and minority ethnic, disabled, neurodivergent, LGBTQIA+ and working class to help to make Sparks more of an experience for the customer including the creation of an immersive central sculpture.
Sparks is looking for a talented artist, painter or graphic designer to create a series of artistic signs and maps which help people to navigate around Sparks, including welcome floor mats, wayfinding maps next to each entrance to help people orient themselves, colour-coded signs providing clear directions to each department on the groundfloor, no entry and staff only signs and lift and toilet signage.
Sparks is looking for a talented artists, painters, lighting and sound technicians to renovate and redecorate the Sparks cargo bike, transforming it into a travelling performance podium. It will then be used by performers who will cycle through the store engaging with visitors, as well as around Broadmead to encourage new visitors inside.
