Lydia at Flaming Moth Vintage (est 2013) promotes sustainable fashion and vintage Bridal dresses dating from 1910-2000.
The special thing about this wedding shop with a difference is Lydia sources wedding dresses and occasion wear from around world. When a bride tries on a dress Lydia takes a photograph of them in their regular clothes and one of them wearing the dress. The bride can then keep the photos. She feels this keeps the magic of choosing a gown and is a good omen.
Flaming Moth Vintage acquires genuine vintage clothing and accessories from 1920s – 2000. With a special interest in authentic pieces from the 50s – 70s, Lydia loves to source and tailor a bespoke retro aesthetic within an ethically modern sustainable business model.
Lydia has worked as a personal shopper and stylist in Sydney Australia, she is always happy to help find and source for you the perfect outfit. When visiting her beautifully designed shop, you will notice her eye for detail and colour.
